How do I get started selling my collection?

It's simple — fill out our submission form on the Sell Your Collection page. Tell us what you have, the general condition, and roughly how many pieces. We'll review your submission and follow up within 1–2 business days.

Do I need to know exactly what I have?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. A general description is fine to start — 'a large Lionel train set from the 1950s' or 'a box of Hot Wheels from the 1970s' gives us enough to go on. We'll ask follow-up questions if we need more detail.

Question 3

Do you buy single items or only full collections?

Accepted Answer

Both. We're happy to look at a single rare piece or an entire lifetime of collecting. That said, larger collections often make the process more worthwhile for everyone involved.

What areas do you serve?

We buy collections nationwide. For large or high-value collections we can arrange in-person pickup. For smaller collections, we can work out secure shipping with you.

How do you determine what to pay?

We research current market values — recent auction results, dealer prices, and collector demand — before making any offer. We factor in condition, completeness, original packaging, and rarity. Our goal is to make an offer that reflects what your collection is genuinely worth.

Yes. We're collectors ourselves and we know what things are worth. We don't lowball — we want you to feel good about the transaction so you'll recommend us to others. Our reputation depends on it.

Is there any obligation to accept your offer?

None whatsoever. Our offers are completely free and no-obligation. If our number doesn't work for you, there's no pressure and no hard feelings.

Does original packaging affect the price?

Significantly, yes. Original boxes, inserts, paperwork, and catalogs can add 30–100% or more to the value of an item depending on the category. If you have original packaging, make sure to mention it.

What condition does my collection need to be in?

We buy in all conditions — from mint-in-box to well-played. Condition affects price, but it doesn't disqualify a collection. Even items with missing parts, faded paint, or wear can have value depending on rarity.

Do you buy incomplete sets?

Yes. Incomplete sets are common and we account for that in our offers. If you know what's missing, let us know — it helps us give you a more accurate number upfront.

What if I'm not sure if something is valuable?

Submit it anyway. We'd rather tell you something isn't worth much than have you throw away something valuable. There's no cost to ask.
